Santa Claus Is Coming To Hoboken Friday, Route Updated

Santa Claus will ride around Hoboken on a fire engine Friday evening. Here's the updated route.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As they do each year, the Hoboken Fire Department will give Santa a ride around the city on a fire engine this Friday night.

"Santa’s trading his sleigh for a fire engine!," said Hoboken Families. "Join the Hoboken Fire Department as they help Santa spread holiday cheer through the streets of Hoboken this Friday."

The ride is set to start at 6 p.m. at the Observer Highway Fire House, head east and west, reach Washington and Fifteenth streets, and return.

The city said on Friday that they have finalized the route:

  • Start at the Observer Highway Fire House
  • Madison Street to Eighth Street
  • Monroe Street to Observer Highway
  • Jackson Street to Seventh Street
  • Jefferson Street to First Street
  • Adams Street to Seventh Street
  • RESET to 13th Street and Willow Avenue to Newark Street
  • Clinton Street to 12th Street
  • Garden Street to First Street
  • Washington Street to 15th Street
  • Sinatra Drive to 11th Street
  • Hudson Street to Hudson Place
  • River Street to Fourth Street
  • Grand Street to Newark Street
  • End at the Observer Highway Fire House

They said the route is subject to last-minute changes.
