SantaCon Bar Crawl (And Suggestive Sweaters) To Return To Hoboken
It's the holiday event residents love to hate: 2 weekends of "SantaCon" bar crawls have been scheduled for Hoboken.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Whether you love it or ho-ho-ho hate it, the privately organized SantaCon bar crawls and ugly sweater contest are scheduled to return to Hoboken on two weekends later this month.
In past years, Hoboken's answer to the NYC SantaCon has drawn cheers and jeers. Former Police Chief Ken Ferrante, who's now the city's public safety director, used to live Tweet various transgressions as the crawls continued.

The city has increased fines for safety violations to as much as $1,000 during the Santa and St. Patrick's crawls.
Private organizers have planned holiday bar crawls in Hoboken for both Saturday, Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 21. An "ugly sweater" contest is also scheduled.
