School Board Changes Food Vendors

A contract for the new school year was approved at Tuesday night's meeting.

The Hoboken Board of Education unanimously approved a new food vendor for the 2012-2013 school year. 

Sodexo Management Inc., will be catering the school meals, instead of former vendor

The contract is for about $125,000 a year, or $12,510.90 administrative costs per month.

The prices for student lunches will remain the same, at $3 at the elementary schools and $3.50 at the high school with the adult lunch price at $4. The district will also continue to offer the universal breakfast program to all students at no cost.
