Senior Citizen Bilked Over Course of Several Months

When an 83-year-old Marine View resident checked up on her Bank of America savings account late last week, she found that someone had been stealing from her for months, police said. 

She told police she saw $800 was stolen, according to the reports. When she checked, she found out that there were 15 unlawful withdrawals between February 13 and May 31, according to reports.

The 15 withdrawals were all taken out of the account in $500 and $800 increments, police said. 

The incident was reported to the fraud department at Bank of America. No arrests were made.
