Special Meeting Scheduled To Discuss 2012 Budget

After weeks of workshops, with every department director completing and presenting their budget, the council introduced the document last Wednesday, during its council meeting.

The tax levy this year is flat, said Finance Director Trasente, which means that the municipal taxes on your tax bill will remain the same. 

On Monday, Hoboken residents will have the first opportunity to speak on the budget publically. 

Final vote and adoption of the 2012 budget is scheduled to take place during the regular scheduled council meeting on April 18.
