St. Ann's Festival, Bob Dylan Concert This Week in Hoboken

Two of the most highly-anticipated events of the summer in Hoboken coincide this week with the annual St. Ann's Italian Festival kicking off Wednesday and Bob Dylan, Wilco and My Morning Jacket coming to Pier A two days later for the AmericanaramA Festival of Music.
The St. Ann's Festival, now in its 103rd year, runs from Wednesday through Sunday in the area of St. Ann’s Church at Seventh and Jefferson streets.
The procession of the statue of St. Ann through the streets of Hoboken will occur following mass on Friday, the official feast day of the patron saint of women. The festival will run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This year's musical performances include La Caribena (Wednesday); New York Yankee Bernie Williams and his All-Star Band (Thursday); Philip Alongi and Friends (Friday); Lime (Saturday); and the Bronx Wanderers (Sunday).
St. Ann's Festival will compete with Dylan and company for attention on Friday. Doors to see Dylan, Wilco and My Morning Jacket open at 4:30 p.m., with the show starting an hour later, at 5:30 p.m. The show, which is being organized by Bowery Presents as part of the AmericanaramA Festival of Music tour, will be held at Pier A Park.Assuming Mother Nature cooperates, the city's numerous outdoor summer series will continue this week with the following schedule:
Monday

The Hudson Shakespeare Company will perform "Henry VIII" at 7 p.m. in Sinatra Park as part of the city's weekly outdoor Shakespeare in the Park series.
Tuesday
The Hoboken Downtown Farmers’ Market is open every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Washington Street between Newark Street and Observer Highway.
Family Fun Nights continue with a 7 p.m. musical performance by family-friendly rock band The Fuzzy Lemons at Shipyard Park, located at 13th Street and McFeeley Drive.
Wednesday
Mile Square Theatre is following up its production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" with a five-show performance of Yasmina Reza's play "Art," opening this Wednesday at 8 p.m. at 1200 Washington Gallery, located at 1200 Washington Street. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at milesquaretheatre.org or at the door. Subsequent performances of "Art" this week will be held Thursday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. at 1200 Washington Gallery.
Thursday
Residents can grab fresh produce at the Hoboken Uptown Farmers’ Market, which is open every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 13th and Hudson streets.
Hoboken's Concerts in the Park series continues with a night of Bob Dylan tunes from some of Hoboken's best-known musicians, the Guitar Bar All-Stars, at 7 p.m. at Sinatra Park Ampitheater, located on Sinatra Drive between 4th and 5th streets.
Prior to the Guitar Bar All-Stars taking the stage, the folks at the Guitar Bar are inviting anyone in town with an acoustic guitar to come out and become part of the world's biggest band for a rendition of Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."
