Star Of 'Real Housewives Of NJ' Apartment-Hunts In Hoboken And Jersey City

A young star of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" shared her apartment search in Hoboken and Jersey City.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — New York City may get the hype, but "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast members see the advantages of living on the Gold Coast. Several young stars of the Bravo reality show have kicked off their adult lives in Hudson County, and last week, one of the younger cast members was apartment-hunting in the area.

Bravo shared that Gia Giudice, who was 8 years old when the show launched in May of 2009, was looking in both Hoboken and Jersey City recently.

The reality star toured rentals along with long-time boyfriend Christian Carmichael.

“So so so excited for this new chapter in my life!" she said in a video she posted to her social media. "I was really exploring the Jersey City and Hoboken area. These were my two favorite buildings. Let me know what you think."

She first saw a two-bedroom two-bath in a high-rise, but said she wished she had more of a view of New York City. "This is huge...I was in shock."

She said she may wait for another unit in the same building with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The second apartment she viewed was a studio with two floors. "It felt like you were in a hotel," she said.

She said she was waiting for other apartments to open up in the same buildings. "I can't wait to see where I end up," she said.

She had said earlier this year that she was desperate to move out of her mom Teresa Giudice's home in Montville because it was too difficult to get to social events in Manhattan.

Other RHONJ cast members have lived in Hoboken, including Albie and Chris Manzo, who lived at 333 River St.

A Bravo spokesperson did not respond when asked where Giudice ended up. But you can watch her journey on Instagram here.
