Street Closed In Hoboken For Water Service Line Repairs: City

"Prepare for traffic delays this morning," said the city of Hoboken Thursday morning.

HOBOKEN, NJ — One section of a street used by the commuter buses was closed Thursday morning because of an "overnight service line break" of the water line, said the city of Hoboken.

They said, "Be advised; Willow Avenue is closed between Eighth and Ninth Streets due to emergency repairs, by Veolia, of an overnight service line break.

"Please avoid the area if possible and prepare for traffic delays this morning."

NJ Transit buses will be rerouted from Willow Avenue to Washington Street at 11th Street.

Hoboken OEM and Hoboken Police will be on the scene to assist with detours and pedestrian safety, the city said.
