  • Northbound NJ Transit buses will operate on Bloomfield Street, and southbound buses will operate on Hudson Street.
  • The Hoboken Police Department anticipates heavy traffic entering and exiting Hoboken on Halloween night, particularly between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., and strongly encourages revelers to leave their cars at home.

The city gave these safety reminders:

  • Drivers should reduce their speed, be alert for trick-or-treaters, turn on headlights, and stop before crosswalks.
  • The city does not permit block parties on Halloween.
