String of Burglaries Continues in Hoboken

This time, 209 Jefferson St.

Two more apartments were burglarized on Thursday, following multiple burglaries earlier in the week, following the same pattern, according to police reports. 

The alleged burlgar, or burglars—still unknown to police—broke into two apartments at 209 Jefferson St. on Wednesday between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., police said. 

From one apartment, where a 78-year-old man lives, $3 in cash was taken, police said. From another apartment, a lap top worth $500 was stolen, according to the report.

There was debris on the floor in the hallway and the locks and frames on the doors seemed to have been damaged during a forced entry, according to police.
