Train Kills Woman Lying on Tracks, NJ Transit Officials Say
Woman struck and killed near Park Ridge station by Hoboken-bound train early Friday morning.

A woman who was struck and killed by a Hoboken-bound train early Friday morning did not attempt to move off the tracks, according to a report on NJ.com.
A NJ Transit spokesperson said the woman was lying on the tracks near the Park Ridge station along the Pascack Valley line at 5:25 a.m. The woman was not identified.
Twenty passengers on the train were taken to Secaucus by bus.
