
A Bayonne man, 34, and a Hoboken woman, 33, were robbed and threatened with a knife on Thursday around 1 a.m., according to police.
The male victim told police he had been slashed on his hand with a knife, according to reports. He also told police that he and his girlfriend exited their car on Sixth Street when three people approached them asking for money to get back to North Bergen, police said.
The three—two men and one woman—introduced themselves as Jezele, Jay and Tony, who was also called Junior, police said.

When the female victim took out her wallet to give the money they asked for, the man who had introduced himself as Tony, showed a silver knife with a four-inch blade and grabbed the woman's phone and wallet, police said.
While the male victim tried to get the wallet back, he was stabbed with the knife on his right hand, police said. The three fled east on Sixth Street, police said. The wallet was found—empty—on the corner of Sixth and Bloomfield Streets.
