Unknown Arsonist Lit Pillow on Fire in Church Sq Towers Stairwell
A small fire broke out, one man suffered from smoke inhalation, according to police.
One burning pillow could have done a lot of damage in Church Towers on Thursday night.
According to police, an unknown actor lit a pillow on fire and left it in the stairwell of the tenth floor of the building on downtown Clinton Street. The fire broke out around 10:55 p.m., police said, and was quickly put out by the building's superintendent.
By the time the Hoboken Fire Department arrived, the fire was extuingished. Fire fighters determined that the fire was set on purpose.

Firemen and police officers went door to door in the building, but didn't find any victims, police said. Nor did they come across the alleged arsonist.
One man living on the tenth floor of the building inhaled smoke and was treated on the scene by the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
