Chase Bank Robbed in Uptown Hoboken

Police say $1,000 was taken by a woman on Tuesday night.

A Chase bank on Fourteenth Street was robbed on Tuesday evening around 6 p.m., according to Hoboken police. 

A woman—about 5-foot-5 and of medium built—allegedly showed the teller a note, demanding money. Police said that the woman didn't have a gun, but did keep her hand on her purse as if she had a weapon.

The woman took $1,000, police said. After leaving the bank, she fled eastbound on Fourteenth Street, according to the report.

The woman wasn't arrested, but was caught on the bank's surveillance system (see photos with this article).
