W Hotel Furniture Damaged as Man Throws Chair from Balcony
An unknown man damaged $3,500 worth of the hotel's furniture over the weekend.

Hoboken police are looking for two unknown men who threw a chair from a third floor balcony at the W Hotel early Friday morning, according to police reports.

The head of the hotel's security told police that around 1:40 a.m., two men were in the upper level lobby of the W, outside of the hotel's night club.

One of the men tried to throw a square table over the balcony, police said, but decided against it last minute. The other man then picked up a chair—worth $1,500—and threw it over the railing, causing it to drop 75 feet, police said.
The chair fell on a table on the balcony one level lower, according to the police, and shattered. The table was worth $2,000, according to the police report.

Nobody was injured during the incident. Police didn't arrest anybody, but the actors were caught on the hotel's surveillance cameras.
