W Hotel In Hoboken Responds To Bravo TV Host Andy Cohen's Complaints
After Bravo reality TV host Andy Cohen complained about a bright red "W" sign on the Hoboken skyline, the W Hotel fired back.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Many New Yorkers enjoy their picturesque view of the New Jersey skyline, but Bravo TV host Andy Cohen recently complained that the red "W" Hotel sign in Hoboken is way too bright.
Bravo shared "breathtaking" images of Cohen's new living space on Friday. But they noted, "Although Andy has been loving the skyline view from his apartment, he does have one issue with it."

The TV star called the red W sign on the W Hotel, which is visible from Manhattan, "blazingly bright" in an Instagram story.

He "implored the folks, our friends...[to] dim it."
In response, late on Friday, the W said they would indeed take a page from Donna Summer and dim the light.

"Bravo Andy noticed our glow and he’s not wrong, the lights are strong," the W Hotel rhymed in a social media post. "We like to think of it as setting the stage for Hoboken’s skyline…what color should we shine next?
Several commenters praised the W for being accommodating.
"No one can dull Hoboken's shine," noted one fan.
Someone else — likely a jealous New Yorker — wrote, "Tone it down Jersey."
To which a commenter responded, "We have been forced to squint at the horrible Chelsea Piers lights for decades."
In any case, the light isn't going away soon.
So what should Cohen do next?
He could always learn from the smart side of the river and flip a table.
