Wednesday in Hoboken: 'Mary Poppins' at Pier A Park, City Council Meeting

*There's a free outdoor screening of "Mary Poppins" at 8:15 p.m. at Pier A Park, located on 1st Street and Sinatra Drive as part of the city's weekly Movies Under the Stars series.

If you get to Wednesday's screening early, Preschool of Rock is performing at 7 p.m., followed by a demo from My Gym Hoboken at 7:30 p.m.

*Hoboken City Council meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. The agenda is available on the city website.

*Traffic and parking restrictions continue Wednesday as road repaving work that's expected to hinder access to and from residences and businesses in all four corners of the city enters its second day. 

*Hudson Restaurant Week continues in Hoboken. Forty-seven participating restaurants throughout the county (22 are in Hoboken) will offer prix fixe lunches from $13 to $15 and dinners from $25 to $38 through Friday.
