Woman Alleges Taxi Driver Asked for Sexual Favors as Cab Fare
But police said she later seemed unsure exactly what had happened.

Early Sunday morning, a cabbie in Hoboken allegedly asked for sexual favors of a young woman who he was driving to Manhattan, according to police reports. But the woman later seemed unsure of exactly what happened, police said.
A woman looking for a taxi around 1 a.m. on Sunday flagged a cab at Third Street and Sinatra Drive, according to a police report. She got in the cab—after saying she wanted to go to 183rd and 7th Avenue in Manhattan—which started driving uptown on Washington Street, according to the police report.
When the woman asked the cab driver for the fare, he allegedly answered "all you have to do is have sex with me," according to a police report.

The woman demanded to get out of the taxi, which she did, and returned to her friends who were still at a nearby bar, police said.
After calling the police and returning to the taxi stand, the woman changed her story, police said. The woman told police she couldn't remember if she had gotten into a yellow cab, according to the report. A little later she told police that she wasn't sure if the car she got into was a taxi at all, police said.

Police said the woman seemed intoxicated. She went home with a friend on the , police said.
