HOBOKEN, NJ — A woman was taken into custody twice in a two-hour period for different incidents in Hoboken last month, police said.

Police said that on April 18, just before 9:30 a.m., officers Aaron Font and Anthony Rutkowski responded to the 7Eleven on lower Washington Street due to reports of a woman inside the store "being disruptive."

Police said that the woman had already been told earlier in the morning that she was not allowed to be inside.

When police arrived, the woman refused to give her full name and gave a false address, police said. She continued to refuse, so she was arrested. Then, she threatened to punch the officers, police said.

The woman, later identified as Dina Elbanna, 28, was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with obstruction of the administration of the law and disorderly conduct, police said.

She was released from custody with a summons, police said.

Just before 11:30 a.m., Officer Font responded to Starbucks at the corner of Newark and Hudson streets, where Elbanna was seen acting disorderly and was reported to have taken items without paying, police said.

Rutkowski arrived and helped conduct an on-scene investigation, which determined that she had taken a $4 food item and eaten it without paying, police said.

Starbucks didn't sign a complaint, but "based on her behavior," she was taken to a local hospital, police said.

As Elbanna was being transported, she "pulled away from one of the officers, damaging his watch," so she was charged with criminal mischief, police said.

She was ultimately released from custody at the hospital, police said.
