You Can Toss Your Hoboken Christmas Tree On These 2 Days
Ready to toss your Christmas tree and decorations in Hoboken? There are a few rules to follow.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Got a Christmas tree to toss in Hoboken?
You can lay it at the curb after 7:30 p.m. (9 p.m. for Washington Street) on Tuesday and Thursday nights for disposal, the city of Hoboken said in a message.
Trees must be completely bare. You must remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, etc.

Do not place Christmas trees in plastic bags.
The city noted that Christmas trees are picked up the following morning by a separate crew from those who pick up regular garbage and recycling.

A city spokesperson said that the twice-daily pickups will run through Jan. 31.
"The last day for Christmas tree disposal is Jan. 31 after which trees can be placed out with yard waste on Thursday nights for Friday morning
collection," she said.
