1 Person Injured After Vehicle Strikes Water Utility Box In Holmdel: Police

The crash occurred on Monday afternoon near Extra Space Storage on Route 35, police said.

HOLMDEL, NJ — One person was injured after a vehicle struck a water utility box on Sunday afternoon, Holmdel Police said.

Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report of a vehicle striking a water utility box off Route 35 near Extra Space Storage.

Once police responded to the scene, the driver was transported to Bayshore Hospital for their injuries.

One lane of traffic was closed while authorities investigated, though it’s since been reopened.
