Authorities Identify Hazlet Couple Found Dead Of Suspected Murder - Suicide

Authorities have released the names of the couple who were found dead in Hazlet Saturday in what is suspected to be a murder-suicide.

Authorities have identified the Hazlet couple found dead in a township home they both resided in on Saturday night in what is suspected to have been a murder-suicide.

Christine Dzienisiewski, 37, was found dead in her home on Peter Place of what authorities have ruled a homicide by “manual asphyxiation,” or strangulation, according to Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Her husband Richard Dzienisiewski, 37, was also found dead at the scene. Dzieniesiewski’s death was the result of self-inflicted wounds, according to Webster, but more details were unavailable as an investigation is ongoing.
