Broadway Star To Perform Solo Show In Monmouth County
Known for playing Satine in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical," Ashley Loren will soon bring her talents to Monmouth County.
HOLMDEL, NJ — A star of “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” is set to make her Holmdel debut when she comes to the Holmdel Theatre Company in September.
For one night only, Ashley Loren, who plays Satine in the musical, will perform an intimate concert where she blends favorites from “Moulin Rouge!” with iconic pop hits.
The performance is part of the Holmdel Theatre Company’s “Broadway at the Barn” series, which aims to bring the best of Broadway to Holmdel’s backyard.

Loren's show is set to take place on Monday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $57 each (plus fees) and can be purchased here.
In addition to her work in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” Loren’s credits also include “BAZ: Star Crossed Love,” “Sweet Charity” (Reprise 2.0, dir. Kathleen Mashall), the Broadway revival of “Jekyll & Hyde” (and national tour) and “American Idiots” in Los Angeles.

On screen, Loren has appeared in NBC’s “This Is Us,” HBO’s “And Just Like That” and the award-winning film “Be The Light.”
A former “American Idol” contestant, Loren has toured around the world and performed alongside Bono/U2, Angelique Kidjo, Lupe Fiasco, Dev Hynes/Blood Orange, Yoko Ono, and others, with appearances on SNL, “The Tonight Show,” NPR’s “Tiny Desk” and more.
As an advocate for Lyme Disease awareness, Loren’s story has also been featured in People Magazine and at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala.
Today, she continues to record with Grammy and Oscar winner D’Mile, with a new album coming soon.
