Burglaries Attempted In Holmdel; Police Seeking Information

Holmdel police are asking the public to report any information about attempted car and home burglaries early Tuesday morning.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Police Department is investigating attempted burglaries of vehicles and a residence that took place from about midnight to 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect vehicle may be a white Infiniti sedan, police said.

Both attempts were unsuccessful, police said, because the residents locked their cars and homes.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or has further information is asked to contact the police at 732-946-4400. The location of the activity was not disclosed.

Also, police urge residents to always secure their homes and vehicles and set alarms if they have them. Report all suspicious activity to police immediately.
