Cat Convention To Bring Adoptable Cats, Vendors & More To The Jersey Shore

HOLMDEL, NJ — Enjoy a weekend of all things feline when the Catsbury Park Cat Convention takes over Bell Works on Saturday and Sunday.

Hosted in the metroburb on Crawfords Corner Road, the annual convention will offer a variety of cat-themed activities, talks, panels, and opportunities to hang out with adoptable cats and kittens for attendees.

On Saturday, the convention will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., while on Sunday, the convention will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the event, attendees will be able to enjoy:

  • 50+ cat-themed vendors offering everything from quirky gifts to premium pet gear
  • Adoptable kittens at their on-site adoption lounge
  • Inspiring talks and panels led by experts in rescue, TNR (trap-neuter-return), wellness and more
  • Hands-on interactive activities, art sessions and surprise events throughout the day

Alongside the events at the Cat Convention, there will also be special guests, including Hannah “Kitten Lady” Shaw and Jackson Galaxy, a cat behaviorist who will deliver a keynote talk and host a limited meet-and-greet for attendees.

“I’m so excited to make my first appearance at the iconic Catsbury Park Cat Convention,” Galaxy said. “I’ve been looking forward to this special cat party for a long time. Being a New Yorker and having spent many summers at the shore growing up, this event feels like coming home.”

Founded in Asbury Park in July 2016, Catsbury Park aims to help save the lives of cats and kittens in need through rescue, TNR, and education at the Jersey Shore and beyond.

By supporting their annual Cat Convention, all proceeds will benefit Catsbury Park Inc. as well as their rescue partners.

Admission to the Catsbury Park Cat Convention is free for children five years old and under; no ticket is necessary.

For those above the age of 5, tickets are required and can be purchased here.

Once purchased, all ticket sales are final, officials said. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Catsbury Park.

Tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the original purchaser. Tickets cannot be exchanged or swapped for admission to any other event.
