Crawfords Corner Road to Close on Wednesday
Everything you need to know in Holmdel and Hazlet today.
The final stage of paving will begin on Wednesday, weather permitting, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at Crawfords Corner Road. During that time, the road will be closed to through traffic.
Detours:
From Holmdel Road traveling South: Continue on Holmdel Road. Turn left on Roberts Road. Turn left onto Longstreet Road. Arrive at Crawfords Corner Road at end of detour.
From Crawfords Corner Road traveling Northwest: Turn left onto Longstreet Road, turn right onto Roberts Road, turn right onto Holmdel Road. Arrive at Crawfords Corner Road at end of detour.

Hazlet Police are ready for Labor Day, with the announcement of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" participation.
The national campaign began in Hazlet on Aug. 16 and run through Sept. 2, and will include sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols. The campaign also launched an education program through banners, posters and mobile video display signs.
