“The purpose of curfews varies, but common goals are to enhance safety for minors by keeping them off the streets during certain hours unsupervised, to reduce juvenile delinquency, and to provide a structured environment for young people,” officials said.

According to the township, curfew provisions will not apply to any minors during the times previously mentioned if they are traveling from:

  • A place of employment
  • A school or place of instruction
