Detour Planned On Henry Hudson Trail In Hazlet
The detour is set to take place while the Monmouth County Parks System replaces the bridge over the Waackaack Creek along the trail.
HAZLET, NJ — A detour is set for part of the Henry Hudson Trail in Monmouth County due to a bridge replacement project that will take place along the trail, Hazlet Police said.
On Monday, Aug. 11, police said the Monmouth County Park System is set to begin construction to replace the bridge over the Waackaack Creek along the Henry Hudson Trail.
This is located along the portion of the trail that runs between Laurel Avenue in Hazlet and Creek Road in Keansburg.

Construction is set to begin on Monday (Aug. 11) and last until approximately Oct. 11, police said.
For those who use the trail along 8th and 10th Streets in Hazlet (between Laurel Ave. and Creek Road in Keansburg), police said there will be a detour while construction takes place.
