‘Diwali Dazzle’ Event To Take Place In Holmdel

At the event, attendees will be able to enjoy food, complimentary Henna application, musical and dance performances and more.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Community members are invited to join the Holmdel Indian Association for a night of music, dance, Henna, food and more at their Diwali Dazzle event.

Set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, in the East Atrium of Bell Works from 2-5 p.m., the annual event will celebrate the richness of Indian culture and the joy of Diwali, association officials said.

Typically spanning five days in October or November (depending on the lunar calendar), Diwali is known as one of the most significant festivals in India and among Hindus worldwide, officials said.

For 2025, the holiday falls on Oct. 20 and is called the “Festival of Lights,” as it symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

At Diwali Dazzle, the association said attendees will be able to enjoy dance and musical performances, bites to sample, complimentary Henna application and more.

The event is organized with preference to local talent, and the association will be showcasing local talent of different age groups through musical and dance performances.

The Holmdel Township Board of Education, Township Committee, Fire Chief, Police Chief, Holmdel Schools Superintendent, NJ State Senators and Congressmen have all been invited to attend.

“Join us for an afternoon of music, dance, Henna and delicious snacks as we celebrate the richness of Indian culture and the joy of Diwali!” the association said.
