Festivals, Live Music, Beach Party: Labor Day Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — As the summer season comes to a close, there’s still plenty of Labor Day weekend events planned along the Jersey Shore.

Whether you’re looking to close out the summer season with a festival, hear some live music, or hang out on the beach, there’s no shortage of activities you can check out around Monmouth County.

Here are five events happening this weekend:

BBQ & Craft Beer Festival
Enjoy over 40 craft beers, nearly 20 of the area’s top pitmasters and three days of live music at Monmouth Park’s BBQ & Craft Beer Festival, running Saturday through Monday.

Sampling goes from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket sales and check-in run from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

50th Annual NJ Clearwater Festival
Take part in an annual open-air music festival that celebrates the spirit of people working and singing together to protect the environment in Asbury Park on Saturday.

Attendees will be able to enjoy live music, crafts and green vendors, food trucks, kids' activities and more.

Woofstock 2
Hear a six-piece jazz band, enjoy soft serve ice cream and more on Sunday at Woofstock 2, hosted in support of the Alexander Ching Memorial Dog Park.

From 4-6 p.m., attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets to set up on the lawn in front of the Red Barn and enjoy the event.

Bands On the Sand
Spend your Labor Day with The Cliffs as they perform for Long Branch’s “Bands on the Sand” concert series (with fireworks at dusk).

The event will run from 7-8:30 p.m. on West End Beach (West End Avenue).

Labor Day Beach Party
Celebrate Labor Day with sun, sand and sound at Pier Village. DJ Robby Woodside will be spinning live on the beach for the event, which will run from 1-6 p.m.
