Festivals, Markets & Fairs: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — As August begins to come to an end and the fall season approaches, there are still plenty of summer activities to check out along the Jersey Shore.

Whether you’re looking to hear some live music this weekend, try new food, go to a fair, or just spend a day out with the family, there are plenty of new events planned around Monmouth County.

Here are five local events you can check out this weekend:

Fair Haven Fireman’s Fair
From Friday through Aug. 30, you can check out one of the largest firemen’s fairs in New Jersey at the Fair Haven Fireman’s Fair. Attendees will be able to enjoy rides, food, games and more at the event.

Jazz & Blues Festival
On Saturday, you can enjoy live jazz and blues at the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival on the Long Branch Boardwalk. The festival will run from 1-9:30 p.m.

Taste of Tinton Falls
Sample foods from your favorite local restaurants and enjoy live music at the Crawford House during the 5th annual Taste of Tinton Falls on Saturday.

The event will run from 4-6 p.m. and tickets are $25 each (advance purchase only). Children under 12 years old are free.

Kidchella
For those looking for family-friendly activities this weekend, you can check out the Monmouth Moms’ Kidchella event at Bell Works on Saturday.

From 5-9 p.m., attendees will be able to experience “an unforgettable evening of music, magic and summer fun” before the new school year begins.

High Tide Makers & Artisan Market
Join Pier Village on Sunday for a day of creativity and local treasures at their High Tide Makers & Artisan Market.
