Snow, Wind Gusts, Power Outages In NJ Forecast Friday
Snow is possible on Friday in some parts of NJ, while others will see gusts capable of causing power outages and snapping tree limbs.
NEW JERSEY - Parts of the Garden State are expected to see a dusting of snow the day after Thanksgiving, with other areas slated to see strong wind gusts capable of power outages and snapping tree limbs, forecasters said Friday.
The northwestern portion of the state is expected to see less than an inch of snow, per the National Weather Service, with Sussex, Warren and Passaic counties expected to see snow showers for much of the day.
A wind advisory is also in effect in four Jersey Shore counties, with northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph capable of increasing to 45 mph. The advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Friday evening. Here are the affected areas:

"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," the National Weather Service said.
There’s also a gale warning in effect for the coastal waters of New Jersey, Delaware and the Delaware Bay until 6 a.m. on Saturday.

If you plan to go outdoors tomorrow, be prepared for some windy conditions. Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph will be common across the area, with the strongest gusts near the coast and in the Poconos. And it will be colder too!

Elsewhere in the state, 15 to 20 mph winds are expected with gusts up to 35 mph. Temperatures will hover around the mid-40s on Friday.
Per the National Weather Service, Saturday will be slightly less breezy with wind gusts as high as 30 mph and temperatures in the low-40s. Sunday will see slightly higher temperatures approaching 50 degrees with winds around 5 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 43. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind around 5 mph.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.
