Future Of Former Vonage Property Set For Holmdel Township Meetings
The Planning Board and Township Committee are set to review the site's redevelopment plan, which would make it a senior living community.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Meetings set to take place in Holmdel this week could determine the future of the former Vonage property on 23 Main Street.
On Tuesday, the Holmdel Planning Board will review a redevelopment plan for the site that would turn the former Vonage property into a senior living community.
According to the redevelopment plan, the community would host assisted living units (including memory care and skilled nursing beds) within a new, three-story building.

The senior living units would include a maximum of 104 for-sale units within the existing building on the property, 40 rental units in the new three-story building and 65 for-sale units in new townhouse buildings.
In addition to senior living units, the redevelopment plan also includes an emergency services building, biking and walking trails, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, parking areas, a wastewater treatment plant, pumping facilities and more.

On Thursday, the Holmdel Township Committee will hold a special public meeting to adopt the site’s redevelopment plan. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Holmdel Township Municipal Building.
