Grand Opening Set For New Ocean State Job Lot In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — Ocean State Job Lot will celebrate the grand opening of their new Holmdel location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday.

Set to begin at 9 a.m., the grand opening event will feature remarks from local elected officials and Ocean State Job Lot executives.

Deputy Mayor Brian Foster, Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger and Assemblywoman Victoria Flynn are among those set to speak at the event, alongside Ocean State Job Lot Regional Director James Hine, District Team Leader Amy Rotondo and Store Team Leader Jeff Greene.

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation will also present a donation to the American Legion Post 23 in Keyport as part of the event.

“Ocean State Job Lot, the region’s premier discount retailer, will celebrate the grand opening of its eighth store in New Jersey, and second in Monmouth County, on Saturday,” officials said. “This new location, a former Stein Mart, provides 37,000 square feet of retail shopping and creates new job opportunities in the community.”

While the store's new location officially opened its doors to customers earlier this month, the grand opening event will provide complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and donuts for attendees to enjoy.

In addition, there will be an Ocean State Job Lot Tote Bag Giveaway, caricature drawings for children and free pictures with Santa.

Job Lot Insider guests who make a purchase during the event will also have the opportunity to win giveaway items valued at over $1,000, officials said. WKMK 106.3 (Thunder 106 Country) will be broadcasting live from the grand opening.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Following the ceremony, officials said activities, raffles and giveaways will continue until 12 p.m.

Ocean State Job Lot’s Holmdel store is located at 2145 NJ-35, Holmdel.
