Hazlet Recreation To Host 3 Nights Of Halloween Fun

Attendees will be able to go on a haunted trail or see a movie in the park each night.

HAZLET, NJ — Hazlet Recreation is set to host three nights of Halloween events ahead of the upcoming holiday.

Starting on Thursday, Hazlet Recreation and Raritan High School will team up to present their Witch Hunt Haunted Trail.

While the event is free, officials are asking attendees to register for the trail beforehand. Walk-ins are welcome, and bringing a flashlight is recommended.

In addition to the haunted trail, Hazlet Recreation will also be hosting Halloween Movie Night in the Park from Thursday through Saturday. The event is free, and “Scooby-Doo’s Spookiest Tales” will be the movie showcased.

Movie night attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs, officials said.

Both the Witch Hunt Haunted Trail and Movie Night in the Park will take place from Thursday through Saturday. Attendees can go on the trail or watch the movie showcase from 5-8 p.m. or 7-10 p.m.

Both events will take place in Veterans Park. For those who attend the movie showcase, the film will be shown near the park’s gazebo.

The Union Ave. entrance and exit for the park will be closed during both events. Everyone will need to enter through the entrance off of Middle Road.
