Heat Wave Moves Raritan High School Graduation Indoors

HAZLET, NJ — Raritan High School has moved its high school graduation ceremony inside due to a forecast of dangerously high temperatures, Hazlet Township Public Schools announced Monday.
The ceremony will take place inside the Raritan High School Auditorium at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Each household will receive four tickets for family/guests to attend the indoor ceremony, and tickets will be placed inside the cap and gown package.

As a courtesy to graduates and their extended families, the district will be providing a live video stream of the graduation ceremony and will post a link to the video feed on the district website for viewing at home.
The live stream can also be viewed from the Raritan High School cafeteria.

"Thank you in advance for working with us to make this a memorable event for students and their families," the district said in an online post. "We look forward to seeing everyone on June 24."
