Holmdel, Atlantic Highlands, and Middletown Athletes Named to USA Gymnastics Team for 2014 World Age Group Competition
Three Middletown athletes, as well as two gymnasts from Holmdel and Atlantic Highlands, will represent the USA for 2014 World Competition.

On September 11, the USA Gymnastics Team named the athletes who will represent the United States at the 2014 World Age Group Competition, which is scheduled for November 13 through November 16 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The U.S. Team for the World Age Group Competitions features 59 athletes from 20 states. This year’s squad includes five Monmouth County athletes, who all are competing out of Elite Trampoline Academy in Middletown.
The group of athletes from Monmouth County include two-time medal winner Cody Gesuelli, of Middletown, who claimed the 15-16 boys synchro silver and trampoline bronze medals.

In the trampoline competitions, Jenna Mazza, of Middletown, will be competing for the women’s 11-12 age division, and Ginger Hansen, of Holmdel, who will be competing in the 13-14 women’s division.
In the 15-16 age division, Megan O’Connell, from Middletown, will be competing for women in trampoline, and Gesuelli will try to bring more medals back home in the men’s division.

Colin Duda, from Atlantic Highlands, will be competing in the 17-18 age division for men’s trampoline.
