What sets you apart from the other candidates?
I have been a resident of Holmdel since 1980, having raised five children who all went through the Holmdel school system, and now 17 out of 19 grandchildren attend our excellent school system.

I am fully vested in maintaining Holmdel’s Educational Excellence for ALL children.

What do you see as the biggest issue facing Holmdel, and how will you resolve it?
The continuing saga of proposed extreme policies. I will prioritize implementing policies that put the needs of parents and children first.

What are past accomplishments or experiences that make you qualified for this position?
After over 30 years, I continue to serve on Holmdel’s Recreation Advisory Committee.

In addition, over the years I have served on various committees of the PTO, including President and Secretary. I am a past board member of the Holmdel Music Association and the Holmdel Theatre Guild. I am a past board member of the Holmdel Theatre Company housed at the Duncan Smith Theater.

And, most importantly, my 34 years of experience working in education has well-prepared me to serve on the Holmdel Board of Education.

Name one thing about Holmdel that always makes you smile.
Every Holmdel graduation that I attend — and there have been many — always makes me smile knowing that the graduates have received the “Very Best of the Best” academically and socially, and sending our next generation of leaders on the road to success.
