Holmdel Police Chief To Retire After 39 Years Of Service

HOLMDEL, NJ — After 39 years of service to the local community, Holmdel Township Police Chief Frank Allocco is retiring, the department recently announced.
To honor Chief Allocco and his work in Holmdel, the department will be hosting a walkout ceremony at Town Hall on Monday, Nov. 3, starting at 3 p.m.
The ceremony is open to the public for those who wish to congratulate the chief on his years of work and dedication to the Holmdel community.

Under the police department’s post about his retirement, many community members and local officials came together to share their thanks to Chief Allocco for his work over the years:
“Holmdel is so lucky to have Chief Allocco as our leader for as long as we have,” Assemblywoman Vicky Flynn commented. “Wishing him a blessed retirement fully of happy days. Very grateful for his dedication and leadership on behalf of Holmdel.”

“Congrats, Chief! Thank you for all these years of leadership and service in Holmdel Township,” Board of Education President Christian DiMare said. “Enjoy retirement, Frank.”
In addition to local officials, many residents and community members also shared their congratulatory messages and recalled their own experiences working with Chief Allocco over the years.
