Holmdel Resident and Bell Labs Draftsman Beatrice Pesce Dies at 86

Beatrice worked as a draftsman for Armor Co., Brooklyn, NY and Bell Labs in Holmdel.

Beatrice M. Pesce, 86, of Holmdel, passed away on Feb. 7, 2013, at home. Beatrice was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna in Farmingdale. She was a member of the Howell Senior Center where she loved to teach crocheting. Beatrice worked as a draftsman for Armor Co., Brooklyn, NY and Bell Labs in Holmdel.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Angelo "Sonny" V. Pesce in 2009, as well as all of her older six siblings. She is survived by two sons, Laurence and Mary Beth, with whom she made her home in Holmdel, and Robert and Kathy of Farmingdale; four grandchildren, Melissa and husband James Rescigno, Lauren, Christopher and Michelle; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Luca Rescigno, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Feb. 11 at the Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Feb. 12 at St. Catherine of Sienna in Farmingdale.

Entombment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery Mausoleum, Freehold.
