HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Road, between Route 520 and Roberts Road, will have an alternating traffic pattern beginning Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 7 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m., police said.

The work is expected to last those hours until Friday, Aug. 4.

Businesses on Holmdel Road are open and can be accessed via the new traffic pattern, police said.

Delays are expected, so motorists are advised to use alternate routes, police said.

The road work has been part of a New Jersey Natural Gas Co. gas regulator project that the state Board of Public Utilities is allowing to continue while the project is being contested in court by the township.
