Holmdel Township Cancels Upcoming Committee Meeting
While the committee's Tuesday meeting has been cancelled, a special public meeting has been set for the end of September. See details:

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Committee has canceled its upcoming meeting and scheduled a special public meeting to take place on Sept. 25.
In an announcement posted to the township website, Township Clerk Wendy Patrovich said the Township Committee meeting originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 23, has been cancelled.
In a statement sent to Patch, Brian O'Malley, the town's public information officer, said the Township Committee decided to cancel Tuesday's meeting out of respect for those who are observing the Rosh Hashanah holiday.

Instead of the committee meeting taking place on Tuesday, a special public meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Regency Clubhouse, located at 1 Clubhouse Drive (the intersection of Jansky Drive and Langton Drive) in Holmdel.
According to O'Malley, the committee decided to reschedule their meeting within the same week so township business could be taken care of, and changed the meeting location to be in a local neighborhood in an effort to increase accessibility for all residents.

"We want to make it easier for people to attend and participate without necessarily having to travel to the municipal building," O'Malley said. "Holding meetings in different parts of the community allows us to connect with more residents and better understand their needs and concerns."
As of Tuesday evening, Patrovich said the special meeting agenda includes regular township business, and a complete copy of the meeting agenda will be posted to the township website at least 48 hours before the meeting.
All Holmdel residents and members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.
