With the election behind us, I’m proud of what our board has achieved this year and look forward to a productive 2025 as a Holmdel Township Board of Education member. We will work together on setting goals and preparing for another successful year. We will collaborate with our administration to address the upcoming initiatives and challenges, allowing us to continue strengthening our school district.
Congratulations to Kim Tucillo and Dr. Surekha Collur on their re-election to the BOE, and Raymond Kim, welcome to the team. I look forward to continuing positive relationships with Kim and Surekha and building a partnership with Raymond. Together, our nine-member board is dedicated to serving Holmdel’s students, families, and community.

Thank you, Terence Wall, for your seven years of dedicated service. I’m proud of our shared achievements to enhance our students' experiences. Your genuine care and commitment to Holmdel’s students are evident. Thanks to John Giampolo and Mary Corrigan for your volunteer efforts and commitment to our schools and community.
Volunteering time for our students and community by running for a seat on the Board of Education is a commendable and challenging endeavor. It requires stepping out of one’s comfort zone to campaign and earn the community’s trust and votes. I have respect for those who take on this commitment to serve.

However, I do not condone the aggressive campaign tactics seen in Holmdel during this year’s BOE election, which do not reflect our values. As parents, grandparents, and community members with children and grandchildren in these schools, our shared goal is to work together to elevate our school district from great to exceptional for the benefit of all. We are the role models for our children and need to lead by example.
No one in our community should have to face personal attacks, anonymous social media posts, robo-texts, or baseless personal & professional stories that tarnish reputations. Holmdel is close-knit community, and we’re better than this. I hope future Holmdel BOE campaigns are conducted with integrity, allowing us to focus on the candidates’ vision for what truly matters—our children, our schools, and our community’s future.
My vision for 2025 is a Holmdel where all stakeholders work together to deliver the best outcomes for our students, while being mindful of taxpayers. We face real challenges ahead, and my goal is to address these issues as a community, collaborating respectfully with all so that we can make the best decisions.
Holmdel Township thrives when we value each other and work in unity.
