Holmdel Water Line Project To Close Access To Area Road

Residents and motorists will have to take some detours Friday to access Telegraph Hill Road on Friday, Holmdel police said.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Residents in the Telegraph Hill Road area will see some changes in traffic patterns later this week, police said.

Telegraph Hill Road will be closed for a water line project on Friday, March 29, police said. The road closure will be in effect beginning at 7 a.m. and is expected to last until 4 p.m.

Detours will be in place, and here is what residents can expect, according to police:

  • Residents will have access to their homes; but there is no through traffic allowed.
  • Because crews will be replacing a water service line, the road will be impassable north of Overlook Drive.
  • Residents from Takolusa Drive to Overlook Drive will be able to access their homes from the Takolusa/South Holland side.
  • Residents who live north of Overlook Drive, from Bethany Road to Walnut Hollow Lane, will have access from the north side (Bethany Road).
