Holmdel's Samantha Cited As Star Student: Here’s Why

We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local student who is having an impact in Holmdel.

Samantha, as a younger girl, already a dedicated Girl Scout. She is now a Holmdel High School student.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Betty Dworkin who nominated her granddaughter Samantha of Holmdel.

Samantha is not only an excellent student, but is a caring and kind sister to her brother, a cancer survivor. She is also near achieving the highest ranks in Girl Scouts.
