Local Farm Brings ‘Merry Mile Of Lights’ Drive-Thru To Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — As the winter season begins, one local farm is bringing holiday magic to Holmdel with their “Merry Mile of Lights” drive-thru experience.

A. Casola Farms, located on Route 34 in Holmdel, will open its “Merry Mile of Lights” drive-thru and walking trail on Friday, Nov. 28.

At the holiday attraction, attendees will be able to experience the magic of the season on the farm’s mile-long drive-thru holiday trail, featuring dazzling lights and festive displays.

Following attendees’ drive-thru adventure, they’ll also be welcome to stroll the farm’s Merry Lit Walking Trail to see even more twinkling lights and cheerful displays, included at no extra cost.

“Experience the magic of the season on our mile-long drive-through holiday trail, all from the comfort of your car!” the farm said in an online post. “Marvel at millions of dazzling lights and festive displays that will delight the whole family.”

For guests who take part in the holiday lights drive-thru when it's open Wednesday through Sunday, officials said they can receive a free hot chocolate from the farm’s Winter Wonderland Superstore.

On Friday through Sunday, trail riders can also take pictures with Santa Claus in addition to receiving a free hot chocolate. There will be kids’ crafts at no additional charge.

Alongside the farm’s “Merry Mile of Lights,” guests can also visit A. Casola Farms’ Winter Wonderland Super Store, which will feature:

• Hot food and homemade pies
• Fresh donuts, funnel cakes, and desserts
• Photo opportunities and pictures with Santa (Friday through Sunday). Farm staff will capture the moment with attendees’ personal devices.
• Wreaths, trees, and grave blankets
• Holiday decorations and lights
• Kids’ candy, toys and gifts

Admission for the drive-thru experience is $45 per car, officials said.

For a private wagon (with an eight-person minimum that should be booked ahead), admission is $15 per person.

For vans or buses with a five-person minimum, admission is $10 per person.

Opening night for the “Merry Mile of Lights” is Friday, Nov. 28. The attraction will run from 5:30-9:30 p.m., and be open weekly, Wednesday through Sunday, through the last week of December.
