Monmouth County Amphitheater Among 10 Best In U.S., New List Says

HOLMDEL, NJ — A Monmouth County amphitheater has been named among the ten best in the U.S., according to a new list from USA Today.

The amphitheater was ranked for USA Today’s 10Best Readers' Choice Awards series, which aims to highlight "the best of the best" in various travel and lifestyle categories.

To select nominees for each list, a panel of experts selects nominations in each award category, and the final set of nominees is chosen via editorial review by USA Today 10Best editors.

Once the nominees for an award category are announced, the public then votes for their favorites over the course of four weeks.

For USA Today’s 10 Best Amphitheaters list, the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel was crowned as the second best on the list, just falling behind the Pavilion at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in New York.

“The PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, is one of the premier open-air amphitheaters in the Northeast,” USA Today editors said. “With its distinctive fan-shaped pavilion and expansive lawn seating, the venue hosts a killer lineup of performances, from chart-topping artists to classic rock legends and summer festivals.”

This summer, the Arts Center is set to host a variety of bands and artists, ranging from Halsey in June to Pantera in July and Dierks Bentley in August.
