Monmouth County Player Splits $240K Cash 5 Jackpot
The jackpot was split between players in Monmouth and Essex counties who matched all five balls in Monday's drawing, lottery officials said.
HAZLET, NJ — Two NJ Lottery players in Monmouth and Essex Counties each matched all five balls in Monday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing to split the $240,702 prize, NJ Lottery officials said.
This is the daily game’s 61st winning jackpot of 2025, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers were 13, 25, 28, 30, and 35. The Bullseye was 35, and the XTRA was 03.

In Monmouth County, the winning ticket was sold at QuickCheck #75 at 1170 Route 36, Hazlet, while the Essex County winning ticket was sold at Lou’s Corner Liquor Mart at 168 Van Buren Street, Newark.
Each retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets, lottery officials said.

In addition to the jackpot, 18 players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each. Among those players, 10 multiplied those prizes to $1,500 by playing the XTRA.
The jackpot has since been reset and is now at $150,000 for Tuesday’s drawing, lottery officials said.
In Monmouth County overall, it’s been a busy week for local NJ Lottery winners.
In addition to the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot split between players in Monmouth and Essex Counties, a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $2.8 million was also sold in Middletown, and a winning Cash 4 Life ticket worth $1 million was sold in Howell.
In Red Bank, a winning $200,000 ticket was sold at Mike’s Deli, located at 75 Oakhill Road.
