UPDATE: One Lane Of Route 36 North Re-Opens Following Accident
The road was closed between Stone Road and Poole Avenue, police said.

HAZLET, NJ — The left lane of Route 36 northbound has re-opened between Stone Road and Poole Avenue following a motor vehicle accident, Hazlet Police said.
The road closed early Tuesday morning following a crash that resulted in a downed pole and downed wires across the road.
As of 9:48 a.m., Route 36 southbound has re-opened. A driver involved in the accident has been transported to the hospital for treatment, according to police.
