New 24/7 Indoor Golf Facility Opens In Monmouth County

HOLMDEL, NJ — A new 24/7 indoor golf facility has opened its doors in Holmdel.

GolfCave, located at 2145 NJ-35 in Kohl’s Plaza, opened its doors to customers on Oct. 15, marking its ninth open location in New Jersey.

At GolfCave, golfers of all skill levels are welcome to play or practice in the privacy of their own “cave” while golfing on the golf simulator, Trackman.

According to a report from The Golf Wire, the new facility maintains 24/7 access for members through their CaveKey system and hosts a BYO-friendly atmosphere designed to make golf “fun, flexible and accessible for all.”

“Golf always felt like something I was missing out on, like an exclusive club I wasn’t part of,” Josh Berger, a GolfCave member and part of the facility’s franchisee team, told Golf Wire.

“GolfCave broke down that wall," Berger continued. "Now we’re beyond excited to bring that same open-door experience to beginners as well as experienced golfers in the Holmdel community.”

According to the GolfCave website, there are membership and non-membership options available for community members (though only members have 24/7 access), as well as lessons for those who wish to improve their golf skills.

Surrounded by local spots for Italian food, barbecue, sushi and more, customers can also bring food to the facility or have it delivered directly to their “cave,” officials said, allowing them to “golf on your terms, feast your way.”

“We’re passionate about making golf approachable,” Daniella Berger, part of the GolfCave franchisee team, told Golf Wire. “Whether you’re brand new to the game or already hooked, we want GolfCave Holmdel to be your home base for golf, 24/7 and in any kind of weather.”

On Oct. 23, Holmdel Township officially welcomed Golf Cave to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening, with local officials such as Mayor Brian Foster and Holmdel Police Captains Jeff Ackerson and Mike Pigott in attendance.

“We are thrilled to welcome GolfCave to the Holmdel business community,” the township said in an online post.
